Mark Turnbull

In 1989 Mark graduated from the University of Natal with a BSc. Land Survey. This was followed by stints in the Survey department of Eskom, Mpumalanga and in a Johannesburg based private practice. He first joined Button & O'Connor Inc. in 1993 as an employee, 1994-1996 as a partner and as a senior Director of the incorporated business from 1997.

Over the past 30 years Mark has served on the professional team of many of the major residential and commercial developments in KwaZulu Natal and has an abundant wealth of knowledge in the tenure rights, project management and land legal issues associated with such projects.

​

Mark has served on the Planning Development Act Appeals Tribunal, is a member of The South African Geomatics Council, The South African Geomatics Institute and is a registered Surveyor in Botswana.

Greg Hitchins 

Greg Hitchins completed his National Higher Diploma in Land Surveying at Natal Technikon Durban in 1992 and soon thereafter joined B&O Professional Land Surveyors.

In 1996 Greg was entrusted with the establishment of the Kokstad office and has been a Director of Button & O'Connor Inc. and Manager of the Kokstad operation since 1998.

Greg is a Registered member of the South African Geomatics Council and the South African Geomatics Institute.

Ronnie Olivier

Ronnie joined Button & O'Connor Inc. in 2015 after completing a B.Sc. Geomatics at the University of Cape Town in 2011.  Prior to his move to KwaZulu-Natal Ronnie was based in Pretoria where he was involved predominantly in engineering and mine surveys.  

He is a member of the South African Geomatics Council and the South African Geomatics Institute.

Sidima Bulo 

Sid joined Button & O'Connor Inc in our Kokstad office as a Student Surveyor in Training in 2004 and subsequently obtained his National Diploma in Surveying at Tshwane University of Technology.

He is registered as an Engineering Survey Technician with the South African Geomatics Council and an Associate Member of the South African Geomatics Institute.
